How to unlink excel worksheets?

I made a worksheet that has data for the month of January. I copied this worksheet into a new worksheet in the same workbook. Now the 2 sheets are linked to each other and I cannot make changes to the new sheet with new data without the sheet resetting to the same info in worksheet. 1. How do I make these 2 sheets independant from each other?
