How to tag/mark a document as "important" in Sharepoint 365
Hello everyone!
How can I tag/mark a document as "important" in Sharepoint 365 and also how I can search for those documents marked as "important" ?
Please do not consider the "Pin to top" function.
Thank you in advance.
- Hi!
Would recommend:
Sensitivity labels for tagging:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/securitycompliance/sensitivity-labels
Search
https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/colinjwood.wordpress.com/2018/07/19/using-office-365-labels-with-sharepoint-search/amp/
Hope that answers your questions!
Best, Chris - Dean_GrossSilver Contributorone way is to create a custom column, maybe called "Business Sensitivity", as a choice or managed metadata field. If the docs will be in multiple site collections, a Managed Metadata column would be better.
You will then be able use a Content Search web part https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Configure-a-Content-Search-Web-Part-in-SharePoint-0DC16DE1-DBE4-462B-BABB-BF8338C36C9A or Highlighted Search part https://support.office.com/en-us/article/use-the-highlighted-content-web-part-e34199b0-ff1a-47fb-8f4d-dbcaed329efd
