How to add connection point with Visio online
Is there a way to add connection points to objects using the online version of Visio? I’ve managed to add a few but somewhat randomly, without a clear process or function I can reproduce! Thanks!

- Select the Shape: Click on the shape to which you want to add a connection point.
- Activate the Connection Point Tool: Go to the Home tab, then in the Tools group, click on the Connection Point tool (or press
Ctrl+Shift+1). - Add Connection Points: Hold down the
Ctrlkey and click where you want to add a connection point on the shape. Each click will add a new connection point. - Switch Back to Pointer Tool: Once you’ve added all the connection points you need, press
Escor click on the Pointer Tool in the Tools group to return to the normal selection mode.

This description work certainly perfectly with Visio destop application but the online version doesn't have this option available. This is the issue !If you do not select a shape, click on connector, mouse over shape until you see a bubble, click and drag to the next shape until you see a bubble then release.
I really wish they had they ability to make the online like the desktop
