How can I change the styles in onenote
I understand that in word etc there are ways to edit the styles. I am trying to set up my own custom one for uni work, but can't find a way to do so. I was wondering if anyone knew more on this?

If you’re trying to change the look of headings or text consistently, it’s worth checking OneNote’s built-in styles and formatting options first. Some versions of OneNote have different style controls, so the exact options can also depend on whether you’re using the desktop or web app.

Yes - those built ins are the ones I am trying to change to suit the usage that is required from them.
I am using onenote for windows 11(Seems to be office16 onenote looking at the file directory)
You cannot create fully custom styles in OneNote like you can in Word. OneNote only offers a fixed set of built‑in styles (Headings, Page Title, Citation, Quote, etc.), and while you can apply formatting manually, you cannot redefine or save new styles. You may only consider using the Format Painter to copy formatting across text.

Ah, that's unfortunate - is there no way to do it from the file directory and directly editing the properties of the file it pulls the data for these styles from?
