Google Workspace to microsoft 365 migration
We completed a Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration recently, and the key was spending enough time on planning before the actual cutover. Make sure all Microsoft 365 user accounts are created, verify your domains, and perform a pilot migration with a few users first. That helps identify any permission or configuration issues early.
If you're migrating more than just email, it's worth using a migration tool that can handle mailbox data, contacts, calendars, and other supported items while preserving the folder structure. We had a good experience using the EdbMails Google Workspace Migration Tool because it supports direct Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration, allows incremental synchronization, and lets you migrate in batches to minimize downtime.
After the migration, don't forget to validate mailbox contents, update DNS records (MX, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC if applicable), and keep the source environment available for a short period until users confirm everything has been migrated successfully.
Regardless of the tool you choose, testing with a small group before migrating everyone is one of the best ways to ensure a smooth transition.
