Google Workspace to microsoft 365 migration
One thing to be aware of is that Gmail uses labels rather than traditional folders, while Microsoft 365 uses folders. During migration, multiple Gmail labels can sometimes result in the same email appearing in multiple folders, depending on how the migration tool handles label mapping. It's worth checking the documentation of the migration method you're using and running a pilot migration with a few test mailboxes first.
Regarding migration limits, the actual throughput depends on factors such as Microsoft 365 throttling policies, network bandwidth, mailbox sizes, and the migration method. There isn't a single fixed daily data limit that applies to every environment, and the number of concurrent users also depends on the migration solution and available resources.
If you're evaluating alternatives, you can also look at the EdbMails Google Workspace Migration Tool. It supports direct Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migration and includes incremental migration, which is useful for synchronizing any new emails that arrive after the initial migration. Regardless of the tool you choose, I'd recommend starting with a pilot migration to validate label-to-folder mapping, permissions, and overall migration performance before migrating all users.
