Folder Redirection to OneDrive Sync Folder

Hello, we are planning to rollout OneDrive for Business with Folder Redirection in the coming weeks. All is working as expected besides one very weird thing...

When I create a New Folder on the Desktop (That has been redirected to OneDrive) via the context menu (Right-Click-Create New Folder) it works, but I am unable to delete it with the delete button. I can only drag this to the Recycle Bin. Does anybody have any idea where to start looking for the root cause?
