Exchange online Public folder cant receive external mail, emails are stuck in on-premises exchange
Hi All,
A hybrid setup has been established in-between on-prem and exchange online. MX records pointed to messagelabs on O365 platform. Pilot mailboxes are migrated successfully and email flow is working fine.
However, mail enabled PF's created on exchange online (O365 Platform) are not receiving external email. Internal relay has been enabled on both on-prem and exchange online, yet no external emails.
Emails are being queued up on prem exchange server. Did anyone encounter similar issues, if so share your experience and fix please ?

It's a known issue with DBEB, read here: https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/exchange/2017/05/19/office-365-directory-based-edge-blocking-support-for-on-premises-mail-enabled-public-folders/
If the PFs are in the cloud, the *only* solution is to disable DBEB.
