End goal is to move everything from on-Prem and turn it off or just keep it for management. No app dependency on on-prem . we are not planning to move fully on cloud ,we keep using AAD.
Well, you might just recreate the DGs in O365 or even replace them with the "modern" Office 365 groups. MX can and should be changed to O365, and if you are still in Hybrid, rerun the HCW after doing so.

* If I moved MX to O365 on-prem distribution group will work ? or after moving MX I need to run hybrid configuration with any changes to make it work.
If you make any change to MX records or mail routing in general while in Hybrid, rerun the HCW.
