Excel Online - Dates appearing in US format

Hi All,

 

I have changed the Region Locale setting to 'English (United Kingdom)' in One Drive, however; my existing spreadsheet still has the date settings in the US format.

 

Has anyone else experienced this issue and how did you manage to resolve.
