Errors in Excel 2016 from 2010 legacy files

Hello Community!

I just started using MS Office 365 in September.  I had been using Office Home and Business 2010.  I have many excel files used for estimating my business proposals that I edit for new proposals.

After loading MS Office 365, my Excel legacy files, produce a black fill on any cell I edit, or most of the time, on the whole row of the edited cell.  This does not happen on a brand new file, but I'd hate to need to start these files over, as they're sizable and complex with about 8 sheets each, cross-linked.

When you open the attached file, the cursor will be on a cell that exhibits this problem.
