Embedded Excel files require sign-in
Hello,
The excel file I embedded in a website suddenly requires login. It is supposed to be accessed publicly without signing-in. I don't understand what has changed.

Take this:
1. Check Sharing Settings
• Go to the file in OneDrive or SharePoint.
• Click Share and make sure it’s set to “Anyone with the link can view”.
• If it’s not, change it and copy the new link.
2. Regenerate the Embed Code
• After confirming public access, go to File > Share > Embed.
• Generate a new embed code and update your website with it.
3. Test in Incognito Mode
• Open the embedded file in a private/incognito browser window to confirm it doesn’t require sign-in.
4. Check for Admin Restrictions
• If you're in a managed organization, your IT admin may have changed external sharing policies. You might need to check with them.
