Disparity in Office 365 home experience
Strange, second screenshot should be the right one for both tenants. I can tell you that in my corporate tenant (First Release configured there) I'm seeing the App Launcher is behaving quite weirdly. cc Anne Michels
Thanks for the feedback,
I'm eager to have feedback from others, it is especially critical these days since I'm literally spamming the "Create Site" button every hours to check whether Communication sites are available.
That disparity could mean that we are not really in "First Release" mode though the Admin Center says so... That would make my hourly spamming vain.. :)
Best regards,

My view is also the second screen shot with the search box.
The issues with not having the search box are a little strange.
On the first release/communicatiosn site side of things...one thing to note, if your tenants are set to first release, you can probably lay off the refresh button for now as they haven't quite rolled our to tenants in first release. It's only for tenants that are set to first release for select users. I beleive the rollout to tenants set to first release is set to start next week. Thanks for the info makes sense.
Regarding the disparities on our tenant I noticed another one with Planner:
A test tenantMy corporate tenant
We can see that on my corporate tenant there is no Favorite plans / All plans sections while on the test tenant there are.
I beleive more and more there's something wrong with our tenant...
