difference between Power BI gateway and Microsoft flow gateway
Hi guys. Could you help me any information about difference between Power BI gateway and Microsoft flow gateway. Or is it the same? And the second question is may I use direct connection with my data...

My two cents here:
(1) Microsoft Flow Gateway is curretly the OnPremises Data Gateway that can be used across Flow, PowerApps and PowerBI...so the key difference is that you only need this Data Gateway for the three cloud services and I think any new one being added by Microsoft: https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/on-premises-data-gateway/
(2) You need the Data Gateway to get your SQL Server Data OnPremises unless you expose your server in a way you don't need it...for instance, you could create an Entity Framework Data Model to map your OnPremises Databases, create a REST API that exposes the Entity Framework Data Model and consume that REST Service from Flow, Power BI or other...
IMHO your best choice here is to use the Data Gateway

Thank you for responding so quickly. As I understood correctly, you say that Microsoft Flow gateway and Power BI gateway are the same thing? Am I right?
