Delete functions on a M365 group

Hey guys, 

When I create a M365 group - I have the ability to also create a Team from this group. Is it also possible to remove just the "teams" functionality again? You wondering maybe why I ask this - because we configured some groups with teams which was not needed. 

The way I see it, I can't undo this, if I delete the team - I delete the group, correct?

    Hi, you’re correct. At this time it isn’t possible. I know there are several UV requests for this at Teams UserVoice.
