Cortana briefing email not working

Hi everyone,

i want users to opt-in to the Cortana mail themselves so i deactivated on admin level and tried to optin via https://cortana.office.com/.

Status is: You are currently subscribed to the Cortana Briefing email.

But i do not receive an email. It's a good thing i tested it for myself first.

I am responsible for an EU company - is the feature not compliant with GDPR after the stop of the "privacy shield"?
