Contact profile pictures disappeared in mails in Outlook

Since yesterday I noticed that the contact profile pictures in my e-mails (sender photo) disappeared.

I now get a green circle with initials and even these are not correct. 

The option in the Outlook settings to display profile picturs is still checked.
