Conditional formatting based on if contains a specific symbol
I am creating a tutor master.
some courses are one day others are 2 days.
a = month
b = which day of week
c = dates of course
d = start and end times of course
f = lead tutor day 1
g = support tutor day 1
h = lead tutor day 2
i = support tutor day 2
if its a 2 day course b and c cells for that row will contain an & symbol
so if & is found in column c of that row i want to use the existing conditional formating rules. but if & is not present in column c of that row then format column h and i in that row to show there is no day 2.
if column b in a row contains the word cancelled i want all cells on that row column b - q to have a specific formatting to indicate the course on that dates is cancelled.
how do i acheive this.
