Changing update channel

Anyone had any success changing update channel using Group Policy?

I note it requires the Administrative Template files (ADMX/ADML) for Office (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49030) - do these work for Microsoft 365 Apps for business (formally Office 365 Business) or do they only work with Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (formally Office 365 ProPlus) client?
