Changing the update channel for Office 365 local applications.

Hello!

 

Can we change update channels for Office 365 local applications (from Semi-Annual Channel to Monthly Channel) for selected users, without changing GPO? Is there any reg parameters we can change locally on the PC?

    aero2466 Not used it myself but there is this process if that would help (just make sure a GPO doesn’t set this back) -

     

    1. Launch Command Prompt as an administrator.
    2. Navigate to “C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ClickToRun\”
    OfficeC2RClient.exe /changesetting Channel=Monthly

    And

     

    OfficeC2RClient.exe /update user
