OP: did you ever resolve this issue? My team is experiencing the same thing the last few months, yet previously we regularly attached meeting invites to emails and never had an issue. The answers that are being provided by MS in other threads I've found on this topic are not helpful or provide guidance to successfully resolve. Our internal MS team is also stuck and is going to submit a ticket to MS for help, but I saw your relatively recent post and am curious if you got help elsewhere that solved the problem.
