Beginning January 14, 2020, the Teams client will be added to existing O365 installations

Question

Beginning January 14, 2020, the Teams client will be added to existing installations for customers on the Semi-Annual Channel.

We limit the use of teams app \ desktop client to selected people only.

We have hundreds of users who have O365 installs using semi annual channel

Question:

1. do we need to create a new Office Deployment tool offline installer?

2. do we need to uninstall \ reinstall office just to exclude teams app or prevent teams app from auto installing?
