Associate existing team site to a new Microsoft 365 Group

Created new Team site without M365 Group in EUR geo location. My Data location is : India. Though I'm a global admin, I'm unable to add new M365 group with the existing Team site.

System says that - You cannot connect this site to a new Microsoft 365 Group because your preferred geo-location is different from the site's location. Please contact a SharePoint Administrator.

We have multigeo enabled , i can't change the preferred geolocation every time to connect new M365 Group. Is there a way to do this ?
