Announcement: Introducing the new Office 365 App Launcher!
Microsoft announced a new version of the Office 365 App Launcher, which will provide improved discoverability to new and recently used apps, additional customization options and search across all the services and applications you use in the Microsoft Cloud. Hi Lana O'Brien - the new app launcher has shown up in our tenant, but unliek the images you show in your post, the app tiles are all monochromo in colour until your cursor rolls over them, at which time you see the classic color. Is this somethign that will change? Is there a setting to manage this experience. - Thx
Was there ever a reply to the question about monochrome tiles in the new app launcher? Is there a 'theme' that allows the tiles to appear as their natural color (the same color that appears when you mouse over them)?

Unfortuantely, no. I just got use to it.
If you unpin an app from the app launcher, does it also hide the tile from your O365 portal home page?
