Am I wrong or the Weekly Digest Message Center message received Today is simply wrong?

All,

I have just received the Weekely Digest Message Center message and when I was reviewing, the first thing It come to my mind was that I was seeing two many updates (12)...so I went to the message center and I could see those updates but I believe the date has changed for many of this update from the previous one to 6th of May...next thing I did was to review the Office 365 Weekly digest post written by Thomas C. Finney (https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/skywriter/2017/05/08/office-365-weekly-digest-2017-18/) and as you can read there, Thomas is saying no updates from the last week...so IMHO, definitively something is wrong with both the Message Center and the Weekly Digest Message Center cc Brian Levenson Anne Michels VasilMichev TonyRedmond tcfinney

    Hey Juan,

    I dont completely understand this:

I was seeing two many updates (12)...so I went to the message center and I could see those updates but I believe the date has changed for many of this update from the previous one to 6th of May

Is the problem that the email has more messages than the Message Center?

Ey Brian...I think this is what has happened...some of the updates dated now with the 6th of May where previously dated with an April date...is this correct? As an example (I have just recovered the previous Weekly Digest Message Center message) I can find the following messages that where originally dated on April and now are dated on the 6th of May...is that date change right?

That makes sense to me because posts are updated. If new information becomes available or any timelines change, that will be reflected in the post.

Whether those specific ones changed, I don't know. I'm not in the operational path of the roadmap or message center to be honest.

  • Hi jcgonzalezmartin

Going forward in my weekly blog posts, I won't be including any specific Message Center notifications for the reasons described in this week's post.  Apologies if that came across as there are no updates this week.

I do see notifications from last week in my tenant, but I haven't received my weekly Message Center digest email yet to see if they align.

Again, apologies for any confusion caused by my post...

    Sincerely,

    Thomas

    • No worries, the thing is that I still think (in despite of your post) that something is not right in the Message Center...of course, I might be wrong too
