Agility with Microsoft 365: How I Worked Remotely During the Coronavirus Outbreak
- Mar 18, 2020
Thank you very much for sharing your personal story Violet Zhang. These are unprecedented times and it is fortunate you work for an organization that was ready to stay productive in the face of crisis. Your point about trusting your employees to do the work with the tools provided is super important. Organizations that didn't have that trust from the beginning to empower their people to work from home are feeling the pain right now. It's something Philip Worrell shared in his post here.
It's been over 2 weeks since Microsoft implemented guidance for employees to work from home if it was not prudent to work from the office. I've certainly noticed the struggle to balance work duties with personal ones, and I don't have additional family members or dependents to deal with! I really liked Deleted's post here on small adjustments you can make to make WFH your new normal and stay productive. It may not work for everyone but I'm definitely trying to dress the part for work so it gets me in work mode.
Stay safe and best wishes to you from Seattle! 加油!

AnnaChu Thank you so much for your comments and suggestions! I've read through all the above blogs today. These articles are so helpful to me as a new comer in the WFH world. 🙂
Due to COVID 19, China team has started with WFH life which opens new world to us. We really need to face the challenges and explore more policies as well as boundraies. Microsoft technology unleashes the power of collaboration during this time. We still need to improve the employee's self-discipline and motivation at the meanwhile. T
Thanks to Dux's recommendation. I had this great community to express my thoughts and ideas from marketing perspectives. Will definitely dive into the techcommunity, get involved more and find more beneficial information, then i could share with my China team colleagues. Cheers!
Keep safe and healthy to you! Happy Friday ahead from China!
