Ads on Outlook for IOS
BobONeil So had the same problem on the Microsoft 365 app. The solution was simple though not at all what it should be. In the ad banner click the three dots and simply click on the Go Premium button. It will see you have and account and immediately remove the ads. Why you need to do it this way and not thru settings makes absolutely no sense nor does the fact that your already signed in and the app just seems to stupid to realize it without another unintuitive step to fix it. My guess is it’s a sneaky way to have their cake and eat it too. Most people use their accounts so little that they wouldn’t spend the time trying to find a fix if they even noticed at all and MS gets to keep their money and those sweet sweet ad revenues.
Why did I get this ad? or Hide ad and of course Cancel. Go Premium is not an option for me.

BobONeil That’s weird. I literally just did it today. Maybe hit hide ad and see if it does what mine did.
- BobONeilSep 01, 2024Copper ContributorWish it were that simple. When I click Hide Ad, it disappears for X amount of time but then the same or another ad appears.
