If you are experiencing issues with accepted appointments not saving to your calendar in Outlook 365, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve the problem:
- Check Default Calendar: Ensure that you have selected the correct calendar as the default calendar for receiving and saving appointments. Sometimes, multiple calendars might be set up, and the accepted appointments could be going to a different calendar than you expect.
- Check for Filters: Make sure you do not have any filters or rules set up that might be moving the accepted appointments to a different folder or calendar.
- Update Outlook: Ensure that you are using the latest version of Outlook 365. Sometimes, issues with calendar syncing and saving can be resolved by updating the software.
- Clear Outlook Cache: Try clearing the Outlook cache, which can sometimes resolve syncing issues. To do this, close Outlook, open the Run dialog (Windows key + R), and enter "outlook.exe /cleanviews".
- Repair Outlook Data File: If the issue persists, you can try repairing the Outlook data file (PST or OST). Go to the Control Panel, navigate to Mail > Email Accounts > Data Files, and then click on the "Repair" button.
- Disable Add-Ins: Temporary disable any third-party add-ins that might be interfering with the calendar functionality. Go to File > Options > Add-Ins, and then disable any add-ins you suspect might be causing the issue.
- Create a New Profile: If none of the above steps work, you can try creating a new Outlook profile. Sometimes, a corrupted profile can cause issues with calendar functionality.
If you are still facing the issue after trying these steps, it might be helpful to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance. They can help troubleshoot the problem and provide more specific guidance based on your Outlook configuration and setup. The text and the steps are the result of various AI's put together.
