About M365 Win10 enterprice license
HI ALL:
My company give me a M365 E3 license , after I check it ,I found in this license include "Windows 10/11 Enterprise (Original) " .
Now colud I buy a new laptop(like lenvoe , asus ,hp ......etc) without OS then use my M365 E3 license to enable this laptop become win10 Enterprise ???
Or but a new laptop with win10 home then use my M365 E3 license to enable this laptop become win10 Enterprise ???

- Chris_iPipeCopper ContributorHi Jack,
I interpret the answer provided by Microsoft (below) to mean that any Azure Directory linked device will take the Enterprise licensing from the users account, not requiring individual licensing for the PC.
This would mean that when you start up an unlicensed, enrolled PC and it asks you for your company email address (after location and language), the M365 E3 License will also apply Enterprise to this device.
- It would need to have the factory issued Windows 10 loaded to do this, it will not image a hard disk with Windows 10 for you.
I do not believe this will upgrade the license of a personal PC you sign into Outlook on with Windows Enterprise but I have not tested this.
I hope this helps.
