2010 2016 hybrid migration
Hello,
Looking to do a migration from Exchange 2010, but would like to also setup the 2016 hybrid server.
Can you tell me what the best options for this are?
Can I setup the 2016 hybrid server and move mailboxes from 2010 to the cloud without a double migration hop. e.g 2010 to 2016 to 365.
Or is it best to setup the hybrid on the 2010 box, migrate. Then setup a 2016 box and reconfigure the hybrid connection (HCW)?

Hi Jason Gaffney,
The best option is to install and configure an Exchange 2016 Hybrid and after you have run the HCW and do tests of mailflow, migration, free/busy with test mailboxes you can migrate directly to Office 365 from 2010 using the 2016 hybrid.
