Unable to see member in DL (distributed list)

 

Hi,

We have two domains - example abc.com and xyz.com. Both these domain belongs to one organization and currently compatible. [i.e. both the domain users are able to access teams and other app of both the domain and communicate cross domain as well.

 

Currently distributed list is created on-premise e.g. mailto:email%20address%20removed%20for%20privacy%20reasonsmailto:email address removed for privacy reasons  and we are trying to add members from xyz.com in mailto:email%20address%20removed%20for%20privacy%20reasonshat DL but we are not able to see and member. Is there any solution to it so that members from both the domain part of single DL. We can't delete this DL as it this DL is part of other DLs to receive alerts and also used by entire organization for various communication.

 

Please suggest.

    Hi jigarmorbia 

    try to create one mail contact with that domain under recipient > contact > Mail contact. After that please try to add that mail contact user as member under distribution lists.

     

    To create mail contact, below is the screenshot for an example reference:
