Outlook search error in current mailbox
1. Rebuild the search index: Open “Control Panel” > “Indexing Options”.
Click the Advanced button and select Rebuild.
Wait for the index rebuild to complete and then restart Outlook.
2. Check for Outlook updates: Open Outlook, click File > Accounts > Update Options > Update Now. Update Now”.
Make sure Outlook is updated to the latest version.
3. Disable Add-Ins: Open Outlook and click File > Options > Add-Ins.
Select “COM Add-ons” in the “Manage” drop-down menu and click “Go”.
Disable all add-ons and try searching again.
4. Repair Outlook profile: Open Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles.
Delete the existing profile and recreate it.
Restart Outlook and reconfigure your account.
5. Using Outlook Web App (OWA): Open a browser, access your Outlook Web App login account and try searching for mailboxes.
