zero values to dashes
Excel displays a dash for zero value in all but two cells when formula is copied across row. The custom cell formatting is set to _(* #,##0_);_(* (#,##0);_(* "-"??_);_(@_)
The formula copied across the row is =C14+C18+C23
Two cells show dashes (which is desired) and two cells show the zero.
When I change to general number for cell format the two cells with a zero become a number with an E like 1.16415E-10
What is that? Help!

That's rounding error, you may use something like =ROUND(C14+C18+C23,2) instead.
