xlfn prefix added to XLOOKUP on latest build of Excel (2110)

I have two machines running Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2110 Build 16.0.14527.20234) 64-bit.  On one machine a spreadsheet that uses XLOOKUP now shows _xlfn prefix in front of new rows in a table that used XLOOKUP, and the formula resolves to a #NAME? error value .  Opening the same sheet in the same version of Excel running on a different machine and it opens without the _xlfn prefix, and rows can be added with no errors.  The spreadsheet worked a week ago on both machines.

Is anyone aware of a "feature" in Excel that would prevent XLOOKUP from being recognised as a valid function in this build of Excel?

That's only subscription channel, I guess in your case it shall be Current channel for both, you may check here

If channel is exactly the same on both I'd repair the Office in question.
