XDR in number styles and comma style
Hi,
2 questions:
1. Excel 2016 has XDR or X_D_R in number styles. What is it about?
2. I have been using excel on different computers and each has its own default comma style. I know how to make a new default with a template. However, I can't understand where from Excel takes the original default comma style? Could it be somehow connected with regional settings? Also how it can happen that styles change over time.

Hi, thanks for reply
Why is then it in default comma style? Which setting could be altering i? I remember after installation comma style was not with XDR.
BTW I have reinstalled office several times, it doesn't help. Now I have solved the issue with XLSSTART folder template, but this thought doesn't let me sleep well
thanks

Hi
I'm not sure what do you mean by "default comma style".
Do you refer to the thousand separator or the decimal separator?
Standard are the settings in the Windows control panel unless you specified something else in the Excel options.

Hello Alexander
XDR would be your local currency format.
