Working with comments in Excel

Hi,

We just noticed that one of our excel file which had several comments have suddenly become non editable. We found the below link which says that Microsoft has moved away from comments to threaded comments and it can only be edited in new versions of Excel.

Being a monthly targeted user of Office365 E3 plan i updated my excel but still can't see the comments in threaded view. It seems working when opened in excel web but prefer to work on the desktop edition since there are lot of comments to add in different sheets and cells. Anyone has any suggestions ?
