workbook file size seems too big

I have a workbook with only one worksheet, in that worksheet - 4 columns with drop down control buttons up to 140 rows and 4 columns of drop down list with data up to 300 rows and the file size is 11...

Click on U1002 then hold Ctrl + Shift and press the down arrow key to highligh all the empty rows

Then go to Home > Delete > Delete Sheet Rows.

Close and Save your file

Thank you for your reply.

My workbook is a monthly record of items returned by clients for whatever reason (status) and the actions taken. This will in turn be used for analysis to find ways to minimize damages.

Attached are images of my workbook.

For data entry - rows up to 1001

Columns C,D,G,H have drop down buttons for users to select data (all 1001 rows)

the drop down lists is from Q to U column and can go more than 1001 rows

how do I delete those unneeded rows/columns to lessen the file size?

the last column used is U
