will the Excel Labs adv formula editer be microsoft certified?
It is not on the list here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-app-certification/excel/excel-apps, and my organization will not allow us to use it unless it is microsoft certified.
That's quite strange requirement. AFE is Microsoft product, thus certification is not applied to it. Above program is only for third party apps.
Another story AFE is not the part of the core Excel. It's developed by Microsoft as separate add-in in frame of The Garage program by Microsoft Research Cambridge team in collaboration with Excel team.
Yes, that's your organization decision to allow Office add-ins or not, to allow Copilot or not, etc. But Microsoft certification is not the criteria if we speak about Microsoft products.
