Width drop down list
Hi there,
Lately I've done some research of the possibility to increase the drop down list width in Excel.
So far all reactions have been negative, also on this website.
But when I look at the screenshot below, you should say that there must be a way to have a wider drop down list.
I've also tried the add in 'EC_List_Search' from Excel Campus. The list is wider, but still not wide enough to read the full text.
Can anyone help me out with this problem?
Pim
Try using a free Excel add-in called "Search deList". You can find it here:
https://www.mrexcel.com/board/threads/i-created-an-excel-add-in-called-search-delist-to-create-searchable-data-validation.1189466/This new version has some additional features, some of them:
Several ways to search, like using AND or OR or LIKE operator , with or without keyword order.
Sort the list by original order or ascending order.
Widen or shorten the combobox width at run time.
Insert multiple entries into the cell.
