Why do I have this overflow into adjacent cells?
I have searched high and low online to remedy this issue. Why are the adjacent cells whited out when I am editing formulas within the cell? I can't figure out how to get rid of it

lbjc16 When you 'Allow editing directly into cells' that's what happens. Enter formulas via the formula bar instead. Disable the option (see picture below) so that you can't edit directly in the cell.
