When trying to open a excel file the document never opens first time

Hi all,

 

Weird one, when ever I try to open an excel document they never open first time. I have to open excel app first then open the file!

 

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

    AB21805 you probably lost the file extension association. Open file explorer, right click any spreadsheet, select 'open with' and check the box 'always use this app'.
