Hello,

Can anyone help please?
I want to fill a column with successive Mondays, ie June 3, June 10, June 17.

Can anyone advise how to do this?
Many thanks

Enter in the cell at the top of the column 6/3/24 (Let's assume that's cell A2)

and then in the cell below =A2+7 and copy it down.

That should do it. If you need to format it as date--I think that will happen automatically--then use the formatting dialog box to select the date format you desire, and apply it to all the cells.

By the way, one other piece of advice, if I might. Don't be afraid to try things out. Excel has--yes--some very complicated functions. But in many of the basic ways it is entirely intuitive. And you're really not going to break anything by "playing with Excel." In this case, for instance, you could have just entered the first of the dates, and then played around with what you think might be logical to get to the next Monday. Last Monday Plus Seven.

One of the best ways to discover answers to basic questions is, really, to try out what seems to make sense. The other would be to discover a good reference book on Excel basics. YouTube has LOTS of videos. But give yourself permission to play.
