Want to copy a cell in its exact format it shows but the data is showing as a long form date
Hello, I have some data I'm working through thats copied and pasted from an outside source. When being copied and pasted it looks fine in the cell but in the top bar it is showing it as a long form ...
sethfuller Don't worry about what you see in the formula bar. Excel works with clock time in the background. When you pass 24 hours it become 1 day (24 hours) plus x hrs, y minutes. Nothing you can do about the 1/1/1900 9:12 notation, as that equals day 1 plus 9 hrs and 12 min.
