VLOOKUP Formulas stopped working

Question

Hi!&nbsp; I have two files that are linked.&nbsp; They are linked with a VLOOKUP formula.&nbsp; They have been working until this week.I'm trying to find the reason the VLOOKUP formula doesn't work anymore.&nbsp; When I enter information or numbers on the supporting file, it's supposed to automatically fill in the corresponding cells on the linked main file.&nbsp; But that doesn't happen anymore.&nbsp; Now, when I enter the numbers in the supporting file, nothing shows up on the main file.&nbsp; It's almost as if they are not linked anymore.&nbsp; How do I troubleshoot the problem and correct the linked files?&nbsp;Thank you!

Hi&nbsp;TRichardson35&nbsp;&nbsp;I assume, that both files are open, right? If yes, and if the VLOOKUP does not work, could you check if the workbook calculation mode is switched to manual?Usually, this should be set to "Automatic"&nbsp;

Hello TRichardson35 and MP2121212121If it is possible move to the new XLOOKUP version. It is better than the old VLOOKUP.When you say "... doesn't work anymore..." what do you mean? is the VLOOKUP returning the wrong value? Is it not returning any values? Is it returning the same value for all instances?Somethings to look for are:Has any columns been added in the table array? For example if you are searching in column A, and returning values from column B has a column been inserted such as column B is now column C?Is the table array sorted?Let us know so that we can help you more.
