Hi Wyn,
So when I key in the formula, the first argument will disappear and I have tried to manually input the argument however it is also not working.
I am not sure why this happens.

Just try selecting the 2 columns on the workbook you’re referencing

Hi mellmn,
Replace the comma with semicolon in your formula, some verion of excel using that.
Your formula should be like this =VLOOKUP(A7;A2:B5;2;0)
by the way, is the problem only with vlookup or with all functions?

Hi Aljarady,
The problem is for all functions. I have tried to replace the comma with semicolon and the formula works now. Thank you so much for your help!
