Link in Excel Online/Web/Mobile IF statement not working. The link by itself works.

I need to place links inside IF or IFS statements using Excel Mobile/Web./Online 

The links by themselves work , but do not when I put the link inside an IF statement. For example using desktop Excel,  IF(A=B,Link1,link2) works, not on Excel/Online/Web/Mobile,, but link1 and link2 work in these environments y themselves.

Is this a syntax issue ?  Help much appreciated.

    If you mean links on another files they are not supported in Excel Online so far, that's preview functionality. In any case links will be different, if locally on your file system when online on sharepoint/onedrive.
