VBA and/ or formula calculus
Hello!
I need to solve the following problem:
I would like to use a formula that will give me a final price of a product. I have 2 sheets on Excel file. On my first sheet I have names of my products in column A (A9:A42), prices of these products on column F (F9:F42). On the second sheet I have name of a product on column A (A5:A10) and quantity in colomn C(C5:C10). I need Excel to search a name of a product on the second sheet (colum A) among names of products on the first sheet (column A), and if both matches, multiply the price of that product on the first sheet (column F) with the quantity of that product on the second sheet (column C).
Is there a formula for this and / or VBA code? Please help!
Mapuka Created a schedule based on your description and demonstrated a basic VLOOKUP solution. If your Excel version supports it, you may also try XLOOKUP.
If you want you can combine the Price and Final Price columns in Sheet2 into one.
