Using slicer in Pivot table to get current month and previous month number
I Want to build a functionality on my data with pivot table ,and slicer so that if i choose current month Feburary to view data simultaneously i will get Previous month data as welll either in same Pivot or separate pivot table

Hello, the question is slightly unclear. However, when you insert a slicer based on the Month field in your Table or PivotTables, you can easily slice your data from the Slicer.
To Slice for January and February, click on January and hold down the SHIFT key and click on February. You're going to see the report for Jan and Feb...
Is that what you mean?
- Thanks, But in this case i want to select ony one montband it will give me previous month data option either in same pivot table or other table through linking, i want to build a comparison which will automate my report comparion to previous month, previous year comparison same month is easy but previous month comparison i am stuck
