Using Organizational Data Types with Sumif Formulas

I created organizational data types to pull in additional data from Power BI. In Excel now I want to reference the cells that are now linked with the organizational data type in a sumif formula, but it won't pull anything back when it is linked. Is there anyway I can write my formula around this so that I can still reference that exact cell or do I just need to add a new column?
