You can insert the picture(s), them resize compress them, then add a hyperlink for every picture in case the user want to see the normal picture he can click on the small picture in excel to go to the original picture outside the excel
Jihad Al-Jarady thanks; I think I was aware there would be a route like that, involving four or five stages. I suspect I'll be able to create a macro which will do most of the repetitive bits and shorten the task.
I think I was hoping there might be a simpler, quicker solution.
